Attention WHS Scholars and Parents:
It is best to apply for the Fee Waiver immediately. We mailed the application (on yellow paper) to your post office box in mid-June. If you qualify, the benefits begin immediately.
If a person does not apply for the Fee Waiver (or does not qualify), all fees must be paid in full prior to traveling with any school group.
Waived fees start on the date of Fee Waiver approval and will not be applied retroactively.
A complete Fee Waiver application includes documentation (one of the following):
* Workforce Benefit Statement (TANF/Medicaid),
* SSI Paperwork,
* Most Recent Pay Stub, OR
* Complete and submit the McKinney Homeless Application.

The focus of this training day will be to unite our district staff into one strong team and to remind teachers/staff of the critical role they each play in positively shaping the lives of our youth.

Online Registration is now open! Go to whitehorse-high.sjsd.org and click on the button called "Registration", which is right below the photographs of our campus.
New scholars, including 7th graders, can upload documents online OR bring hard copies to the Front Office during our Registration Days: August 8-11, 9 am-2 pm.

School starts Thursday, August 18, at 8:25 am. Meet your Advisor in front of the school as early as 8 am! Plan to register all scholars ASAP (deadline is Thursday, August 11).


Registration starts Monday, August 8, and runs from 9 am-2 pm . Be sure to bring documentation to apply for a fee waiver (see flyer for more details).

High School Football is hosting a short parent meeting today (July 25) at 5 m on the football field.

Strength Training resumes today (July 18) at 5-6:30 pm and will run Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's throughout July. Meet at the Wrestling Room door near concession stand.

This virtual conference is for upcoming 9th-12th grade scholars. Event Registration opens Wednesday, June 29th.
STUDENT LEARNING INCENTIVE: The first 50 students to register and commit to attend the entire event will be eligible to receive a $50 learning incentive from the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs. An email will be sent to students verifying attendance and mailing addresses.

Strength & Conditioning is paused for the summer sports moratorium. Strength & Conditioning will run three days each week in July. Since the gym is closed for maintenance, we will enter the weight room/wrestling room just south of the concessions. Watch for the July schedule, coming soon!
