Today (Sept 16) is Midterm, Gradebook Closure, and an Eligibility Check. (The Eligibility Check takes effect on Monday, September 19.) For tonight, cheer on the Raider Football team at MV at 7 pm. Cross Country heads to Shiprock on Saturday, September 17. NOTE: The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony originally scheduled for September 21 has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 29, at 6:30 pm.
Jr High Volleyball is running late and should be back on campus at 9 m today (Sept 15). Remember that Midterm and Eligibility Check is tomorrow (Sept 16).
Since school dismisses at noon today (September 14), there are no Late Home Buses and NO Athletic Practices.
As announced in July, we are running the School Community Council Election today (September 14), as part of Open House and CCR Day. Ballots will be part of check-in at the Front Office, noon-5:15 pm.
Please join us for Open House and CCR Day from 1-5 pm today (September 14). Participants who attend the 5 pm presentation will get meal tickets.
Remember: Buses leave campus at noon. Families can meet scholars at noon and then visit with CTE Teachers about Pathway options.
Since Midterm, Gradebook Closure, and the next Eligibility Check all occur on Friday, September 16, we suggest all assignments get completed and returned by Tuesday, September 13.
We host special programming on Wednesday, September 14, to include a guest speaker and planning for Homecoming. Buses depart campus at noon, but families may choose to meet on campus to visit with CTE Teachers about Pathways.

Cross Country heads to Gallup on Saturday, September 10. The meet is at Church Rock, New Mexico, with the first race at 8:30 am.
Composers will have their original music pieces performed at the Grand Canyon as a World Premiere on Sunday, September 11, at 5 pm.

"Resources and Opportunities for Parents of Students Interested in Health Professions" is the presentation that will conclude the Open House & CCR Day. Join us in the auditorium at 5 pm. Meal tickets will be provided.
ALERT: September 14 will be a modified A Day schedule. Scholars get special programming from 8:25-noon, to include a guest speaker! Buses leave campus at noon. Families have the option to meet scholars on campus to visit various CTE Teachers about Pathways.
Open House & CCR Day will run on September 14 from 1-6 pm. Faculty and Advisors will be available, along with table presentations, training to view scholar grades online, and short talks. "Tips for Going to College" and "Health Careers" will be in the auditorium at 5 pm where meal tickets will be provided.

All students who were enrolled in SJSD in May are qualified for summer PEBT benefits without an application. There is no number to call so parents MUST send an email for questions to: PEBT@utah.gov
These benefits have been issued onto the current EBT cards or the previous years PEBT cards. If people don't have their card they can do the following:
Go to jobs.utah.gov/covid19/pebt for instructions on how parents can request a new card at the very bottom of the page.
