
The kick-off at Water Canyon, for football, is at 7 pm today (Oct 4). Cross Country travels to Lake Powell on Saturday, October 5, and Jr High Volleyball will be at the ARL Tournament in Blanding. Please note that the end of 1st quarter is Thursday, October 10. We urge all scholars to submit quality assignments by noon on Wednesday, October 9. (Fall Break is October 11-14, so the first day of 2nd quarter is Tuesday, October 15.)

Join us at the Home Jr High Volleyball game today (Oct 1) versus Monticello, starting at 5 pm. Cross Country travels to Blanding tomorrow (Oct 2) for the John Thornton Invitational; the first Jr High race is at 2 pm. We are also starting the Evaluate Assessment for LA (grades 7-10) and Math (grades 7-8).

The VB Team travels to Rehoboth for a tournament that starts with pool play which will determine the tournament brackets for Friday and Saturday. The concession will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Admission Prices for tournament: $6 Adults, $5 students/military/seniors 65+, Kids 4 yrs and younger are free!


This is Safety Week. Today (Sept 26) we are learning and practicing the Lockdown protocols so that scholars and staff know to hide in a secure location. This is a drill. Parents/families cannot enter the school during a Lockdown. Best practice is to watch this alert system for information. Once again, we are practicing today and this is a drill.

It is Safety Week. Today (Sept 25) we are learning and practicing the protocols for Secure. This drill helps us to know how to stay inside and secure all of our outside doors. Visitors are not allowed to enter the school during a Secure. Again, we are practicing and this is a drill.

The workshops include IEP/504, stress management, transitions, state agencies, disability resources, and support for the entire family.

Next week (Sept 23-27) is Safety Week. We have several training and practice opportunities for the emergency protocols AND will test our alert system for parents/families. The HOPE Squad is sponsoring dress up days designed to foster awareness for mental well being. Additionally, UNITY Club will be hosting high school lunch activities related to Healthy Lifestyles: Positive words, staying hydrated, walking the track, coloring for mental health, and eating greens!
