Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-003
Continuing Stay at Home (Shelter in Place) Order and Daily Curfews

Hi friends, parents, and community members
As you all know the last "Stay at Home" order that was released on January 21, 2021 would have ended on February 15, 2021. The Navajo Nation did not make a new order HOWEVER, they did extend it. There is no finish date this time so the order new remains fluid. Here is the link or you can use the Covid-19 link but on the TES website. Stay safe everyone. The light is at the end of this tunnel, and we are closer to it. Remember to get a hold of teacher or the Admin office if you have concerns or need assistance. We continue to strive to keep you informed. Click the link below for the updated Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-002

Hi TES Parents and families
WOW!! can you believe how fast time is flying by. This third quarter (yes, this is the third quarter of school and it is almost finished) is more than half way through. Your teachers want to remind you all that we are able to do our best teaching when we have data that we can work with. As much as we love our kiddos, we have to be honest with their progress academically. Please help us to retrieve the information needed to adjust how we teach your children, and how we teach each other. TES teachers gather data from several platforms. Some are used to keep us informed as a school and some are used to show you (the parents) your students progress on their report cards. The Evaluate tests, Dibels testing, and WIDA testing are used to help guide our school and teachers in their goals. Teachers use other assessments as well to guide their teaching as well inform you as parents of students progress. We ask that you help your student to take these assessments as they become available. As a reminder, This next week is a great time to start encouraging your student to take the Evaluate ELA and Math assessments. They only need to take 1 a day, and they should practice resilience by taking their time and doing their best work. If you're not sure of other assessments that your teachers give to gather data, please ask.
We sure appreciate all of you parents that are working hard to keep your families running during this pandemic. We strive to help where we can so please call so that we can help support you. Thank you again from your TES teaching team.

Note from PBIS Team:
This is just a friendly reminder to send back postcards to your teacher along with your completed school packet. I hope it’s all completed and ready to be sent on the bus tomorrow. Those of you that Pick-up your child’s school work, drop it off in the Home Work Drop box. You can also send it back by email, Dojo or any means of communication with your child’s teacher.
This coming week’s activity will be to decorate Valentine’s Day card and sent back to school next week. Included in your packet is a red and pick construction paper to use. You can decorate, fold, or cut. You can send to anyone you wish.
Remember those that participate will be entered for a basket full of goodies at the end of the month.

Busses are on their way with Valentines! Thanks for turning in your homework this week! Let us know how we can help. We love you!
